Ryan M. Gwillim Appointed to Manitowoc Board of Directors: A Strategic Addition to Lifting Solutions Leadership

Manitowoc, a renowned lifting solutions company with a legacy dating back to 1902, has recently made a significant addition to its Board of Directors. The board, which oversees the strategic direction of Manitowoc, has expanded from nine to ten members with the appointment of Ryan M. Gwillim.

Ryan Gwillim brings a wealth of experience to his new role, currently serving as the senior vice president and chief financial officer at Brunswick Corporation, a position he has held for nearly 13 years. His diverse roles at Brunswick Corporation include Vice President – Finance and Treasurer, Vice President – Investor Relations, Associate General Counsel International and Mergers and Acquisitions, Assistant General Counsel Corporate and Securities, and International Counsel – EMEA.

Gwillim’s educational background is impressive, holding a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign’s Gies College of Business, an MSA in Accounting from the same institution, and a Juris Doctor from the University of Illinois College of Law earned in 2005.

Before joining Brunswick Corporation, Gwillim served as an account director at CPA Global and as an associate at Baker & McKenzie. His career progression at Brunswick Corporation, as indicated on his LinkedIn profile, reflects his dedication and leadership, from Vice President of Investor Relations in September 2017 to Vice President – Finance and Treasurer in June 2019.

Brunswick Corporation, Gwillim’s current employer, stands as a prominent marine recreation company with over 60 industry-leading brands.
